Antonina Shevchenko
Antonina Shevchenko is a Kyrgyzstani as well as a Peruvian Muay Thai fighter as well as mixed martial artist competing with the Flyweight Division in the UFC. She's older than fellow UFC fighter and the former UFC Flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko first began combat sports in the form of a Muay Thai Kickboxer. Shevchenko battled Jaimelene Nievera on Dana White Tuesday Night Contender Series 11. Antonina utilized her striking techniques in order to TKO Nievera in the clinch with knees and body. Antonina accepted a UFC deal following her win. Antonina Shevchenko made her debut in UFC at The TUF Finals TUF Heavy Hitting against Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko defeated Roxanne Modafferi by a split-decision fight, after prevailing in the initial fight by unanimity. Antonina was able to bounce back from the loss by defeating Lucie Pudilova at UFC on ESPN Covington against Lawler via a rear-naked choke submission.
